A word of Inspiration!

God gives strength! 8/23/20

2 Corinthians 4:1 reads, "Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not loose heart." Galatians 6:9 reads, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not."  Isaiah 40:31 reads, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

You know God never said that in living for Jesus, living a life of purpose was going to be peaches and cream.  He never said it was going to be easy for you.  I need to keep it real and tell you the truth that now that you are on the Lord’s side, living a meaningful life, making a difference in your environment, touching lives, being excellent in your life, making changes for good, that you can expect times when you will have difficulty. There will be times when you will cry and when you will be sad.

In Psalms 126 the psalmist expresses it well when he sings, "When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” 3The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. But in verse 4 He says, Restore our fortunes,  Lord, like streams in the Negev. 5Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

Please allow me to encourage you today that if you have been going through a season of sad times and have been hurt by life and you are in a difficult time, please understand that God is present with you, always around and always understanding. And if you believe and cry out to Him, He will give you the strength you need to come through your hard time!

Again, let me encourage you that today is your day for a renewed strength and joy!

I've written this message to encourage you to not give up because “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”  Psalms 126:5

Remember! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Ps. 30:5

Stand on God's Word that reads, "For my light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."  2Corinth. 4:17 And, "The God of all grace, who called me to his eternal glory in Christ, after I have suffered a little while, will himself restore me and make me strong, firm and steadfast."  1Peter 5:10

My dear friends reading this message, you are reading this not by chance, but because God led you to this site to take in these words of encouragement through His word because He cares for your soul and has need of you to continue on in His purpose.  So many others benefit from your life and what you bring. You are special, chosen and called of God and you can't let your enemy have victory over your giving up.  No you just can't give up now.  Yet, by God's power, BE STRENGTHEND TODAY!

A PRAYER FOR STRENGTH

Dear God, please give me the strength that I need to face today. Please take away the voices that says that I can’t go on. I acknowledge that sometimes the pain is just too much for me and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this, but I'll dare to stand on your word that I can do all things through you who gives me the strength. I am in need of your strength.

I trust and believe that you are present with me. Thank you for your promise to give me the strength that I need today. Your strength is  all I need so that I can face tomorrow.

Please keep me from sinning during this trial and test of my faith. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord and all of my hope rests in you.

I believe that you are strengthening me now. I believe that I can continue to go on now in doing your will. Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
